Interim Executives Academy

For graduates of the Interim Executives Academy, this single-session learning opportunity will adapt the phases and protocols of the IEA to the specific work of an Interim in the Development Department in the nonprofit sector. We will look at how serving as an Interim Development Director differs from serving as an Interim Executive Director, and what protocols need to be in place to ensure a methodical, transformational approach to an organization's resource development work. From how the interview process for an Interim Development Director will differ from that of the Interim CEO, to the specific goals during the hand-off and onboarding of the successor, we'll explore the six phases and fourteen unique deliverables of an interim development position.

The three-hour session will focus on building stability in the department, so that the successor Director will find a welcoming environment in which they can work successfully. This is a private offering, exclusively for graduates of IEA. Materials will be provided.
